In has been known that the chronic dialysis patients present a defect of immune regulatory function, especially cellular immunity and, therefore, are susceptible to mycobacterial infection. The symptoms are nonspecific and the predominant sites
are
extrapulmonary, such as pleura, peritoneum and lymph node.
We have experienced a case of multiple tuberculous abscess in liver and spleen in chronic hemodialyzed patient and present this case with a brief review of literatures.
